Project: EPIC - Nezha Original Design
Concept design for Nezha - one of the DPS characters for Project: EPIC. Pulling from the original folklore, I thought of skewing the design more towards the feminine side (usually, Nezha is always portrayed rather ambiguously). This would eventually lead to some issues on the testers' side, but more on that later!
Overall, I wanted to really give her a fun, playful vibe - her design came very naturally so i nailed it down rather quickly.
Final Beauty Shot - Overall, felt really good about this design: it was fun and very pop-ish, which I really dug. Of course, eventually the original train of thought would result in a complete makeover for her down the road (more on that in another post)
