I'm Shawn (also known as 13Wishes) a Singaporean comic artist/ illustrator/ game artist/ concept artist/ writer who has worked with various gaming companies, including King, gumi Asia and LambdaMu Games. I'm also a published comic artist and writer, with 3 books under my name. As a freelancer, I've worked on various projects for many clients, including Marvel, Yahoo and IBM.

Candy Crush Soda Saga | Art Lead (2019 - 2025)

- Led art production for major Soda features: from Visual Development to 3D - ensuring visual excellence, consistency, and alignment with the evolving game vision

Soda Art Revamp – 2D to 3D Transformation
- Spearheaded Soda’s shift from 2D to 3D, redefining its art style, visual identity, narrative clarity, and UI/UX integration
- Established new thematic direction, shape language, and color systems to drive cohesive, high-fidelity visuals

Project: Grand | Senior Game Artist (Character Lead) & Narrative Designer (2016 - 2019)
• Contributed to the visual development of the game with a dedicated focus on character design, shaping the game's artistic identity
• As Narrative Designer, led world-building efforts by crafting immersive narratives and comprehensive design briefs for all in-game characters
• Served as Lead Artist for the Character Track, ensuring design consistency and quality from initial concept through to final 3D models, collaborating closely with concept artists, modelers, and animators
• Initiated and refined the Art team’s feedback process, significantly enhancing creative efficiency and collaborative communication
• Personally designed numerous key characters and in-game assets, directly influencing the game’s visual richness, world building and coherence
• Developed detailed documentation supporting both Narrative and Art disciplines to maintain clarity and alignment across the team, stakeholders, outsource partners and other departments like Marketing
• Produced almost all of the games' illustrations, emphasizing visual storytelling, reinforcing narrative depth and world building, while also providing feedback to in-house artists and outsource partners for those not done by myself.
